No, I haven't been "hitting the bottle"Yesterday I had to go to an Oral surgeon and have my two lower wisdom teeth removed. First you don't eat for 8 hours before the procedure, which for me is VERY difficult. I get sick if I go more than about 4 hours between "feedings". Luckily I was scheduled for 8:20 am and they even got me in 10 minutes earlier than that, imagine not having to wait at a doctors office!! The surgery only took about 1/2 hour and went very well. I just hope that all the wisdom that I've gained over the years didn't leak out! I did have a bunch of packing in there to hold it in :0
So we got home and settled me in bed with pills and water nearby. We changed the packing and took some meds and then I laid down. Next time I moved 5 hours had gone by and I still hadn't had anything to eat and I didn't even feel hungry! So we medicated, changed the packing and I laid down again with a magazine to read....three hours later I woke up!
This is my private nurse and chauffeur. He is very handy to have around, he got me to the doctor on time, went and got my prescriptions filled and then spent the day checking on me, medicating me and changing the gross packing. If I would have been "sick" he would have taken care of that too. He even went to KFC to get me some mashed potatoes and gravy :) I really love this man! This morning I feel like I can go out and catch a yard sale two....we'll see how that goes, I may be overly optimistic.

wow, you're brave, posting pictures of your puffy self. I got mine out in high school and I looked like a chipmunk for a few days. I hope you get back to feeling normal soon. Let me know if I can do anything. Thank goodness for great husbands!!!
