There is Sunshine in my Soul Today
Deep down I know we need the rain. After all we do live in the desert here. It feels like it has rained every single day for the last two weeks. I'm sure we've had a break or two but seriously I'm ready for the sun! Today there is sun :) Will it last all day? Oh please, please, please! I have mushrooms in my lawn....even if they were edible I still would not like having mushrooms in my lawn. I do not like mushrooms. Randy finally had to mow a wet lawn because it wouldn't quit raining long enough to dry. On the upside of that, our sprinklers have not had to be turned on which means a savings on the water bill. I like that :) Today is Sunday and the kids are coming for dinner. If the sun stays out and the rain stays away the 10 little Indians can run and jump and scream and holler outside instead of inside! Please Mr. Sun spend the day with us. Thank you in advance :)

fyi it rained on Sunday so had 9 wild Indians running through the house. Hattie didn't come so we were missing #10
ReplyDeleteOh I felt the same way!!! When the sun finally did come back and Alex wanted to watch tv, I said "no way, get yourself outside and play. Who knows when that rain will start again."
ReplyDeletewell 9 is better than 10 running through the house, but not much :)
